Our Caregivers

“Our Caregivers give you the freedom to live at home”

At Connecting Hearts the words “Team Work” is top priority. With an experienced caregiving team we are able to offer the dedicated support your loved one needs.

Our caregivers help families take control of their lives and allow their loved ones to remain at home. Being a caregiver requires special qualities, such as patience and compassion, along with skills. Our caregivers not only help seniors age in place, but they also provide reassurance to families so that they can return to their daily lives.

Employee Screening Process

Connecting Hearts makes every effort to ensure that we send only the best help. We require that all our caregivers have a minimum experience of 6 month experience or have a Certified Nurse Certificate.

We have a Pre-Employment Screening Process that has enabled us to select the best caregiver possible. This screening process includes:

  •   Personal interview by Care Manager or owner, with skills test
  •   Criminal & Reference background check
  •   DMV check
  •   Drug Urine Test

When all the results are in, the office team discusses each potential person prior to hiring. When a final decision is made a call is made to offer them a position and become part of our “Team”.

Continued Caregiving Supervision

Client care is also supervised through regular home visits by our Care Managers. You will have a face-to-face meeting with your Care Manager and selected caregiver to make sure you are completely comfortable before any service is provided in your or your loved one’s home.

Continued Training

Our Caregiver Team has ongoing training to develop their skills. Our diverse group has experience and are able to give dedicated support in many of the illness our clients might have:

  •   Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care
  •   Arthritis
  •   Diabetes
  •   COPD
  •   Emphysema
  •   Heart Disease and respiratory disease
  •   Parkinson
  •   Multiple Sclerosis
  •   Cancer
  •   Impairment due to stroke or injury
  •   Post surgery

The bottom line is our employees are the most important member of our company, and they become an essential person in our client’s life. So, we do all we can to make sure they have the desire and the ability to perform the tasks our clients require.
